The Story of Sabine Baring-Gould’s Folk Music
Join us on Sunday 28 June, 16:30 – 18:30, for a unique evening of live music, storytelling and local heritage in the Courtyard. Inspired by Sabine Baring-Gould’s renowned folk song collections of 1888, this intimate event brings his collection of stories and songs to life through live performances by a local historian, and with music by Mike Bosworth of The Parson and the Songmen.
With the bar open and a light bite menu available, guests are invited to enjoy a relaxed celebration of the house’s rich history and its connection to one of Devon’s most celebrated figures.
This is a free event, not tickets required. Please call 01566 783222 for more information.
