Our beautiful grounds and surrounds, and the history of the manor, inspire our seasonal programme of events that is centred around exceptional food and drink. From intimate wine tastings, to garden tours and new menu launches, these experiences are open to hotel guests and non-residents alike.

Grapes Away from Home

An evening for wine lovers. Taste your way through Old World grapes grown in New World regions with a five-course dinner* celebrating the power of terroir.

With each course, you’ll devour dishes designed to bring out the best of each bottle and locally sourced ingredients that celebrate our unique terroir here in Devon, including Brixham mackerel and Dartmoor beef.

Each wine will be introduced by guest Sommelier Laura Tattershall from Sovereign Wines – a family-run, Devon-based independent wine merchant supplying quality wines to the South West. A non-alcoholic pairing is available.

And if you’d like to stay the night, we can offer an exclusive rate. Our reception team will confirm room availability and take payment upon booking.

Afternoon Tea at the Manor

A beautifully presented selection of finger sandwiches, homemade scones with West Country clotted cream and jam, and a tempting variety of sweet treats – all stacked high on a classic three-tiered stand – served with your choice of fine loose-leaf tea or coffee.
