Every one of our beautiful country-living inspired rooms is unique. We've a range of accommodation across the main house, courtyard and Folly. They all share some common traits which will complete your relaxing retreat:

Four Poster 

Our Four Poster Super King bedrooms in the Manor House – Moth Mullion and Jacquetta – are truly exquisite. The rooms are reminiscent of manor life centuries ago… but with all the benefits of 21st century amenities, including spacious and contemporary en-suite bathrooms and large roll-top baths. These beautifully decorated and luxurious rooms have panoramic views of the surrounding gardens and Devonshire countryside.

Our Four Poster King rooms are a short walk from the main house, these rooms overlook the gardens, courtyard and fountain. Royal Georgie is a beautifully spacious first-floor bedroom with a private staircase. St. Clements is on the ground floor of the North wing, with a four-poster bed and a relaxing lounge area. Both include a sofa bed and can sleep up to four people. St Gertrude is on the first floor in the main house, also with a four-poster king bed, and an amazing in-room copper bath. 

Superior Rooms

The Manor’s six Superior Rooms all have king-sized beds and a luxurious and welcoming atmosphere. Miss Quillet, Mrs Curgenven, and Winefred can be twinned. Pabo, Mehalah and Eve are spacious rooms with views of the surrounding estate, including the gardens, courtyard, hills and woodland. Contemporary en-suite bathrooms add to the splendour of these historic rooms.

Classic Rooms

Kitty is situated under the eaves of the second floor next to our Superior Room, Aurelia, and has a generously proportioned bathroom and views out to the gardens. The other two Classic Rooms are all on the first floor; Grettir and John Herring have views stretching across the parkland and hills. 

Snug Room

Our Snug Room is the romantic Richard Cable. Perfectly formed for a comfortable stay, this room is in the Folly next to the main house, and boasts a fabulous bathroom and a comfortable double bed.

Accessible and Family Rooms

Urith, which overlooks the courtyard, is suitable both for families and wheelchair users. It's next to our Superior Room, Mrs Curgenven, and the two rooms can interconnect to offer the perfect suite for families. Urith's sizeable bathroom is wheelchair friendly. Both rooms can be made up as a double or twin room.
