Travel to the 17th century for our Jacobean-set murder mystery evening of thrills, chills and a large helping of intrigue, along with some exquisite fine dining.
The fate of Lew House and the estate hangs in the balance as a contested inheritance soon descends into jealousy, desperation and fractured family ties. Before long, Lew House becomes a place where secrets refuse to stay buried…
Spend the evening uncovering clues, questioning suspects and solving a mysterious crime set in 1615, during the reign of King James I.
A night of mystery, dining and Jacobean plotting
The evening begins at 18:00 with drinks and mingling, giving you the chance to meet fellow detectives before the mystery unfolds.
At 18:45, take your seats in our historic ballroom for a delicious three-course banqueting menu, served as the story begins to unravel. Throughout the evening, unexpected twists and turns will challenge you to solve the crime before the final reveal.
Fancy dress is optional, but we encourage guests to embrace the Jacobean theme — from ruffs, puffs and high collars to richly decorated and ornate clothing. The best-dressed guest will win a prize.
